The turn out was brilliant with nearly 700 participants! Congratulations to all those involved! We hope you had an enjoyable day and were not suffering from sore muscles for too many days following!

Girven, Podaitrist, Podiarty, Tauranga, marathon Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at 9:55AM This year Footfit Podiatry is entering a team to participate in the Tauranga Half and Quarter Marathon's. It is happening this Sunday 15th April and we have members involved in different distances.
After the race, Footfit's Lead Podiatrist, Emma Hoult will be at the Wright Sport and New Balance tent giving free foot health assessments, helping you with any niggling injuries or giving you advice on how to prevent them.

If you have any running (or walking) related injuries that you would like to get checked out, there will be a podiatrist from Footfit Podiatry at Wright Sports every month.
The Podiatrists are available for free consultation appointments - The sessions are usually 15-20 minutes long. The Podiatrist will be able to analyise your gait and assess any injuries to then recommend any further treatment or other remedies. The academy was established in 2009 after extensive research and thorough consultation with the school, its sports codes and community. The ASA board has 4 over arching aims:
Set up, support and fund the infrastructure to enable Aquinas to be consistently playing in the top division and at a level to win championships.
Attract, identify, acknowledge, mentor and support students in order to produce champion teams and champion individuals. Also to support the selection, retention and ongoing up skilling of Aquinas Coaches.
Facilitate the continued development of club structures.
Footfit Podiaty was able to educate the students on the importance of foot health in preventing injuries. We had a lot of fun with the team and Footfit would like to thank Bill Kite and all the students involved for their support.
